The following article documents my findings about the data formats in the real-time strategy game "Outpost 2: Divided Destiny", which was published by Sierra in 1997 and developed by Dynamix.
From November 1, 2015 to November 14, 2015, I was primarily concerned with the analysis of the game's data - and what it does with it.
According to the information I've gained so far, Dynamix - like so many commercial companies - has not developed some data formats specifically for Outpost 2, but used them in other developments such as the Mechwarrior series (modified).
As always, the conditions listed under What is what? apply.
The data given here are always to be understood as Little Endian.
